To avoid the failure of such initiatives, organisations need to take a more strategic approach to implement digital transformation in the workplace.

Here are 5 steps that will help employees embrace digital transformation.

Have a Clear Vision

Digital transformations are more about the transformation and less about the technology. Organisations’ leadership needs to be clear on the process/business transformation that is needed. What changes does the organisation want to see? What areas of the organisation need these changes?

Create a Rapport

With a clear vision for a digital transformation, the leadership of organisations now needs to cascade this vision down to stakeholders. Top of the list will be employees. Of cause, employees are key implementers of any change process and a digital transformation process isn’t different.

Communicating and creating a rapport with employees about the desired digital transformation is key to its success. Employees can be resistant to a change that has not been effectively communicated.
